I sat at the desk of my new house, gifted to me by Mark and Mary after I agreed to be their Holy Vizier. When I offered to be their Holy Vizier, I meant it as a joke, but they took it seriously. They had involved me with their sordid religion over the weekend, dragging me away from my work. I had to finish translating the Magicks of the Witch of Endor and then figure out how to make the bodyguards impervious to bullets.
