This is a revised version of the story that I published on Smashword starting back in 2014. It is rewritten with much-added material. However, I did have to age up some of the characters so no one is underage in this version.

Within a short time of making their Pacts, the Tyrants had already extended the tendrils of their power into local law enforcement. Few tried to resist the Tyrants, but they were quickly eliminated by the precursor to the Tyrant’s police state. The first to resist were a simple cult in an unimportant city called Fife.
