I’ve been on a little staycation for the last week. Been chilling. The stress has been a lot less because I finally had my issues with Amazon worked out.

I eluded to this two weeks ago, but I published The World’s First Futa Saga Book 3 and Amazon didn’t believe I had the rights to it because I had published it for free on my blog.

This isn’t the first time this has happened. In fact, I had issues with the stories that made up this collection back in 2018. But this time, Amazon didn’t believe my proof that I owned my blog.

So I ended up having to file an expedite copyright registration from the US Government. And that wasn’t cheap to get it done faster than a month or two. So for that reason, I’m not going to publish things found for free on my blog with on exception, Dungeon Builder Harem.

This sadly means that though I have half of Futa Slime From Outer Space on Amazon, I can’t risk posting the rest of it. If Amazon doesn’t believe I have the rights, they could terminate my publishing account.

So Futa Slime From Outer Space is all up on Smashword, but will be shortly coming off Amazon. This wasn’t an easy decision, but I can’t afford the exorbatant cost to do another expedited claim on something that won’t make that much money on its own nor just the risk of losing my account. While I had found a way to keep Amazon from finding stories on my blog, if I forget to activate it, then Google caches the page and Amazon can find it. And, I checked, and a few of the Futa Slimes left to be published I messed up on.

But that’s life.

I hadn’t read much, but I’m working my way through Seven Deadly Sins. I’m into Volume 18 now. I really am enjoying it and surprised that, nearly halfway through the series (it’s 41 volumes) still missing the final Sin.

But they’re at least looking for him.

Still, it’s fun. Hawk continues to entertain. My theory on Elizabeth was confirmed and should help to deal with certain hangups she has. It seems were digging into Ban’s childhood and maybe how he gained his abilities.

Also, the series takes place in England. Didn’t realize that despite Arthur and Merlin being characters. Clearly, it’s some alternate version of England, but still England.

My Instant Death Ability Is So Overpowered, No One in This Other World Stands a Chance Against Me! Volume 9 continues to entertain me. I love this series. Though I was surprised that this book is having a plot point in my fantasy series I’m now publishing under my real name.

Same idea, though different execution.

The absurdity of it amuses me to no end. The world is bonkers. The characters and situations keep getting more outlandish. It’s a fun series. I really like Tsuyoshi Fujitaka’s style.

Can’t wait for Volume 10.

The NPCs in this Village Sim Game Must Be Real! Vol. 3 gets into what is actually going on in this series.

It was a neat idea.

I really enjoyed this series and hope there’s more coming. It’s a cross between an Isekai and, well, not sure how to give it a genre. It’s about a guy who is given a game called Village of Fate to beta test. The game is way to real to be installed off a floppy disc.

It’s a god sim game. He plays the God of Fate and has to guide his villagers as they start over after their town was destroyed. Only problem, it’s in real time, all he can do is give a single message to them to guide them once a day, and to use miracles with his faith points that slowly build up (or for predatory microtransactions he can buy them).

At the end of the month, he has to save them from waves of monsters who serve the Corrupted Gods.

Only it’s so clear that it’s not a game, he’s watching people in another world who are truly in danger if he can’t help them. It’s a very novel concept. I like it. Has some good characters and it’s great seeing the main character grow with the villagers.

On iStripper, found two very hot shows the last week (though their April Fools joke today of Kitties was pretty funny). Miss Olive was one hot nurse in I’ve Got the Fever. Just a delicious redhead in a sexy nurse’s outfit. The other was Chrissy White’s Half Term Holiday being just a naughty, naughty schoolgirl.

Sorry for the mistake!

Well, I’m off to my grandfather’s funeral. I’m done in California for it. It’s tomorrow. He’s a great guy and he’ll be missed.

My treadmill desk came in last week. I need to exercise more, and now I can walk and write at the same time. I’ve been using it for over a week, getting a good 15 to 20 minutes of walking a day. It’s definitely better than nothing.

It took a bit of adjusting to the way you rock from side to side as you walk, but now I can write as fast as normal! So that’s nice! I am glad that I bought it. My Christmas present to myself!

My Lovey-Dovey Wife is a Stone-Cold Killer Manga 1 is in the vein of this genre that I’ll call “We Got Married Without Really Knowing Each Other.” Fly Me to the Moon and My Wife Has No Emotions definitely fall into this category that I’m also reading.

This one is about a normal salary man who married an assassin. She’s a cold blooded killer, but when she’s home with her husband, she’s cute and adorable. Like those other manga, they’re having to progress their relationship slowly despite being married.

It is funny how jealous the wife is over the MILF neighbor.  It’s a fluffy but fun series.

I’m the Hero, but the Demon Lord’s Also Me, Vol. 3 was a fun read.

This harem series has a lot of great fanservice in it and a fun plot. The main character is both the hero that needs to save the world and the demon lord that will destroy it. Turns out, his dad was the last hero summoned from Japan to defeat the demon lord. Instead of doing that, he eloped with the sexy demon lord and returned to earth.

So he has the blood of both.

Now hot demon girls and hot princesses are competing over him. Plus, his holy sword has to be claimed by groping his busty childhood girlfriend. Volume 3 was more fun and eager for Volume 4.

My Instant Death Ability Is So Overpowered, No One in This Other World Stands a Chance Against Me! Volume 8 continues to be my favorite Light Novel series. It’s so absurd.

This one concludes the Ent Island arc. The series reminds me a bit of Malazan Book of the Fallen with how everything builds towards these huge climaxes with lots of characters dying. Only this is so absurd instead of series.

Though we’re running out of characters that came from our wold with the main character. I am curious what the end game is.

Slayers 12 is out!

If you’re a fan of the fantasy anime, Slayers, then it’s great to read the Light Novel source material. We’ve gone so far past the anime. Gowry got his sword of light destroyed. Demons are everywhere.

Characters you’ve never heard of are hanging out with Lina.

It’s a fun and short books (even for light novels).

It’s great reading more about Lina and her insecurity at being flat-chested!

Thank you all so much for your condolences and well wishes to me and my family. My grandfather’s funeral is February 19th, so I’ll be out of town that weekend.

I’ve been reading a lot of manga (I got a massive order in from Rightstuff of preorders that had been delayed by the supply issues) but there is one Light Novel series that i have to talk about. The NPCs in this Village Sim Game Must Be Real! Volumes 1 & 2 were phenomenal.

It’s all about this thirty-year-old guy, a NEET as they call them. A shut in that hasn’t really left his bedroom in his parents house for a long time. He has no job, barely any money. He only gets things by entering into online contests. One day, he gets a video game to beta play called God of Fate.

It comes on a single CD-ROM (yes, a CD) and yet when he boots it up, it has the most realistic graphics over. It’s a God Simulator where he can make miracles with faith points (and those collect slowly unless he wants to pay some very predatory micro-transactions). Once a day, he can give a message to his followers.

Any message that he can type. And they listen.

The AI is too advance. The characters too real. There’s only five of them, a married couple, their young daughter, a warrior, and his little sister who’s the priestess. He has to help them survive against the dangers. In real time. There’s no fast forwarding.

And when they start giving him blessings, they appear in the mail, sent from a remote part of Hokkaido. But this game is changing his life. It’s really good. I got invested in it, and Volume 2 ended on a hell of a cliffhanger. I can’t wait for book 3. This is a great light novel with mystery and stakes. If he doesn’t help them properly, they’ll die.

In Manga, Parallel Paradise 8 came out. I love this series. It’s very explicit. Yota appears in a fantasy world full of women that die at twenty-one because of the curse of the Jealous God. His presence turns these women on, and if he touches them, they get so wet they gush juices.

The story is really moving along. We’re getting into the deep mysteries of the series while the stakes are rather high. Characters can die pretty quickly. But that plot twist at the end.

Damn. I can’t wait for Parallel Paradise 9.

Call Girl in Another World 3 is another one that I read. It’s a fun read. A call girl from the red light district in Ikebukuro, Tokyo appears in a fantasy world. To save the world, she has to satisfy a list of different type of men.

And she’s an expert at her task.

It’s a naughty series. This volume focused on a side character, a catgirl, that ended up in Ikebukuro and starts being a call girl in our world. It was a fun little side diversion, especially with the poor guy that fell for her.

It had one of the funniest and saddest moments when a portal opens and is sucking her in. He grabs her and says he’s never letting her go. He’ll go with her into danger. And she says, “You’re such a great friend!” And he goes, “What?” then they vanish into the portal.

Poor guy.

Might as Well Cheat: I Got Transported to Another World Where I Can Live My Wildest Dreams Volume 1 is about a guy who appears in another world then just uses his powers to make money to enjoy the brothels.

With some fun adventures. It was a quick, fun adventure. Nothing too special, but I had fun with it.

For iStrippers, I haven’t share my favorites. What I would have picked last time is Sia Siberia’s Re:ward Time, which is a fantastic parody of Rem from Re:Zero. She’s sexy and hot in her Rem cosplay. A real hot one that melted my computer.

For this time, it has to go Belka cosplaying as Mai from King of Fighters. Kink of Fighters was a hot show. Belka’s got the tits for the role, and she uses them to her advantage.

And I’m doing a runner up is Sybil in My Dildo Academia. Now, I don’t know this series at all, but I do know she looks hot in her schoolgirl uniform no matter which character she’s cosplaying.

Some real great choices!

 

I’ve added a plugin to enable dark mode. It seems to work. There’s an icon in the lower right corner to toggle on and off.

So, my long-time editor and friend, Master Ken, is not doing well. He reached out to me back in 2013 and helped me improve a lot in my writing. He’s edited all my novels up on Amazon from Knight and the Acolyte to Ultimate Harem Fantasy.
But he’s health has deteriorated the last six months and it doesn’t sound promising. His quality of life is greatly diminished. He was a great guy. A big help.
So I have found a new editor.
I just wanted to say thanks to Master Ken for all his help over the years. He really was the first person that helped me on my writing journey.
