Chapter Eleven
Munjan returned from the meeting with Leo and looked at his monster girls.
“We’re doing it,” he said.
His monster girls squealed and bounced in place. They clapped their hands together. They all squealed out how much they supported him. Not just the monster girls he had summoned to this world, but the ones he claimed from other builders.
“I want to help,” Melin said. The mage looked eager. “You deserve to have more power, and Lord Leo needs the Blade of Death. He is distracted, so we have to step up.”
“That’s right,” said Munjan. “In the morning, we are going for it!”
“That’s right!” Talasa squealed. “Ooh, ooh, can I sit on your face, Munjan? I love going for a mustache ride on you.”
“He doesn’t have a mustache,” said Melin.
“It’s just an expression,” said Munjan as he fell back on his bed. “Of course. Go for it!”
His selkie squealed in delight and mounted the bed. Her big, gray breasts jiggled. Her flesh always held a wet gleam. She straddled his head, her bald twat over his head. He breathed in her spicy aroma before she planted her cunt on his mouth.
“I get his dick!” Chisanu cried. His claimed valkyrie sounded so fierce.
Munjan was just fine with that.
He tongued his selkie’s spicy pussy as Chisanu mounted the bed. The other monster girls were squealing and having their own fun. Munjan devoured that pussy sitting on his face. He licked at that delicious cunt as the valkyrie gripped his cock.
“Oh, yes, yes, we’re going to make Lord Leo so proud,” Chisanu moaned. “He’ll recognize you, Munjan. You’ll be trusted with more tasks.”
“Good,” Munjan said. Like Siwang…
The valkyrie plunged her hot cunt down his cock. She was an Ice monster girl, but she wasn’t cold. She was hot. Her pussy gripped him as he groaned into Talasa’s pussy. He tongued her cunt with hunger as the valkyrie squirmed on him.
“Oh, Munjan,” Chisanu moaned and slid her cunt up his cock.
He growled into Talasa’s cunt. He tongued her with hunger, licking at her with his passion. She squirmed on him as he feasted on her. He loved the taste of her spicy cunt as the valkyrie rode his cock. Her silky snatch massaged him.
She gripped him with her tight cunt, too. He growled and plunged his tongue into Talasa’s pussy. He devoured the selkie’s spicy snatch, flicking around in her. She squirmed on his face, her butt-cheeks clenching before his face.
“You’re the best, Munjan,” groaned Talasa. “You’re going to have the entire squad in your harem!”
“Damn straight!” he growled.
“Ooh, that will be so hot,” Chisanu moaned. “Oh, that dick is so big and thick!”
The valkyrie rode him with passion. She moaned, her cunt clenching down his dick. She massaged his cock with that hot twat. He hurtled toward his climax. He would have a huge one, just dumping his load into her twat.
She moaned and shifted. Then Talasa groaned. The sounds of their lips smacking together filled the air. They were making out as they rode him. He loved that. He stroked through Talasa’s folds, brushing her clit.
She squealed into Chisanu’s lips.
The valkyrie moaned, too, her lips smacking against the selkie’s. The valkyrie’s passion slid up and down Munjan’s cock. He hurtled toward his climax. She felt incredible around him. He tongued at his selkie’s bud.
He licked at her hard clit, savoring how she squirmed on him. Her spicy juices soaked his taste buds. He hungered for her real flood. He attacked her bud, the pressure building and building at the tip of his cock.
Chisanu rode him with passion. She plunged her cunt down his cock and back up him. He groaned, his nuts tightening with the need to cum in her. He wanted to flood her with all that he had. His jizz swelled in his nuts.
“Oh, fuck, Munjan!” Talasa gasped as he suckled on her clit. “I love you!”
Her spicy juices gushed out of her cunt.
He drowned in them.
He lapped them up, loving the taste of her cunt. He stroked through her hot folds as she squirmed on him. He stroked through her wonderful flesh. She moaned in delight as he enjoyed this passion, the valkyrie plunging her hot cunt down his dick.
“Ooh, that’s it!” the Ice monster girl gasped. “Shit, yes!”
Her pussy went wild around his cock.
Munjan lapped up Talasa’s spicy cream as Chisanu’s pussy writhed around his dick. She squealed out her passion. The valkyrie felt amazing around his cock. His nuts tightened as she milked his rod with her wonderful pussy.
“Goddamn,” Munjan growled and erupted into his valkyrie’s snatch.
“Oh, oh, yes!” gasped Chisanu. He flooded her twat with more and more blasts of cum. He erupted into her snatch again and again. He loved every second of the pleasure slamming through him. “That’s so good!”
“It is!” he groaned, dumping his load into her pussy. “Shit!”
He erupted over and over into her cunt. He filled her up with his spunk. He dumped his load into her hot flesh. He lapped at that delicious snatch as the pleasure slammed through him. It was a glorious moment. He enjoyed it.
“Yes!” he groaned as all the pleasure rushed through him. Her pussy spasmed around his cock. “Oh, damn!”
“Mmm,” Chisanu cooed.
“I know,” Talasa groaned, squirming on his face. He tongued the selkie’s spicy snatch.
“I have to get to work,” Munjan said, eager to retrieve the Blessed Blade of Death. He wanted to be able to bring Senka to this world. To have the full cheer squad in his harem.
“You have to?” asked Talasa as Chisanu slid her twat off his cock. “Mmm, you could just let me sit on your face.”
He grunted and slapped the selkie on her gray ass. “Up, slut!”
“Yes, yes, you don’t get to just sit on his face,” said Andea. “I want to sit on his face all day!”
“No, me!” Macka said.
“It has to be me,” cooed Vina.
“Why not me?” purred Jaje. “He loves my pussy.”
“And mine!” Dijamanta proclaimed.
“Off him!” Mirisi said and yanked her off him. “Greedy slut!”
“So greedy,” Noca cooed. “Should spank her!”
“Later,” Munjan said and rose. He moved through his women to his Vault.
Soulanna was bouncing atop the Void Crystal when he entered. A perky soul, she was as energetic as his cheerleaders. She beamed up at him as he gripped the black gemstone and sank into the interface. He felt at the power reserves.
He should have enough.
He first summoned a copy of the map that Fara had made marking all the potential cities with the swords in them. They were pretty accurate maps. She had Sharithin on there, the halfling city where Munjan’s dungeon was located.
He had to go northeast. So he sent his first long dungeon. He drove through the land, hoping he got the distance right. He had to judge it. When he thought he was close, he made an exit and drove it toward the surface.
He had no idea if he was close.
Ahavoire was on the northern shore of Grand Havolim Lake. So the fact that his exit allowed water to flood into his dungeon was a good start. He must have gotten close. He closed his dungeon and stored the water in the reserves.
Simple enough to do.
He sent the dungeon farther to the north. Again, water flooded his dungeon. The lake was huge. Almost an inland sea. So it was encouraging. And it wasn’t saltwater but fresh that flooded his dungeon, so he hadn’t hit the Nomashin Ocean that lay to the north of the continent or Lavalinal Bay that was east of Ahavoire.
The third time he opened his dungeon, no water flowed through. He smiled. “Just need some monster girls to scout,” he muttered to Soulanna. “I wish I had ghosts.”
“They are useful,” Ordaziti said behind him.
“Maybe use some goblins,” said Sjanja. A red cap, she was Metal like the goblins.
“That’s insane,” Plamena gasped. “Those goblins would get caught. They’d just hump the first halfling they came across anyways.”
“Werewolves,” Mirisi said. His manticore was Wind, so she wasn’t advocating for her own. “In wolf form, they look like any other animal. They’re fast. Keen noses.”
“That’s not bad,” Munjan said and dove into the Void Crystal’s interface. He found his four werewolves—Khoobasoorata, Patnee, Jamakarana, and Khushkarana—and placed them in the exit.
“Lord Munjan?” Khoobasoorata asked. “Is there an attack?”
“Scouting mission,” he answered. “There should be a city on the northern shore of a like. Scout it out. Look for dangers.”
“Yes, Lord Munjan!” the werewolf answered with such passion.
Munjan released the Void Crystal and stretched his back. He yawned as he waited for a report. It came at once.
“It’s a snowy land,” Khoobasoorata said.
“Cold,” Jamakarana added.
“I like it,” Patnee said.
“Yes, it’s fun to run through,” Khushkarana squealed. “Lord Munjan, snow is so fluffy!”
“Just look around for a city,” he said. “Snow’s a good thing. It’s supposed to be cold up there.”
“Yes, Lord Munjan!” the four werewolves chorused together.
Munjan waited for them to report more. He created a chair and sat down on it. His monster girls were watching as he waited for more information. He closed his eyes and waited, gripping the armrests of the chair. This nervous excitement rippled through him.
There was something exciting about this. His monster girls were on a secret message.
“We found the lake,” said Patnee. “And there’s a city a few miles to the east from where we are. It’s on the shore. There’s ice floating out in the lake. Ice!”
“I didn’t know ice could float on water,” Khushkarana said. “It’s wild.”
“The wendigos and yetis would love this place,” Khoobasoorata said.
“That has to be it,” Munjan said, smiling. “Return to the dungeon. We’ll move closer and have you scout out the city and figure out how to get in.”
“Yes, Lord Munjan!” they exclaimed together.
It took a few minutes for them to return to the dungeon. His companions crowded around the room, whispering to each other. Once the werewolves were inside, he drove his dungeon closer by a few miles. He unleashed them again.
“It’s a big city,” Khoobasoorata said. “I’m surprised. Halflings. There appears to be some of them herding to the north. Others are out in boats on the lake.”
“Fishing,” Munjan said. “Is there a temple in the city?”
“It’s hard to say,” Khoobasoorata said.
“Sniff around the city. Figure out ways in.” Munjan released the gemstone. “They found the city. They have to figure out how we can get in.”
“Tough for wolves to do that,” said Melin.
Munjan’s friend pushed through the monster girls. He was naked, which wasn’t surprising. It was a casual sort of place. Melin had full use of Munjan’s monster girls except for his cheerleaders. Friends should share their harem with friends, right?
“Why not just use the scrying ritual,” Melin said. “That’s what Lord Leo would do. You do have access to it now, right?”
Embarrassment flushed through Munjan. “I knew that,” he snapped. “I was just seeing how close we were and what was around the city.”
“Riiiight,” Vina said, a wicked smile on the maenad’s lips.
Munjan’s cheeks burned hotter. “I’ll summon it now.” He drew in a deep breath and found the words for it. “Lord Shamash and Lady Sherida, create an eye for me to peer out at the world. Let me see through it. Let it gather the light of the world and send it to me.”
He shifted the scrying sensor to the exit of his dungeon and flew it out. Everyone peered at the screen he stretched out against the wall. The sensor rose. It wasn’t nearly as snowy as the werewolves made it out. The shores were choked with it, but within a half-mile, greenery started to emerge.
Not fields, but more… tundra, he supposed. There were halflings herding reindeer to the north. Some evidence of farming, but it appeared the wrong time of year for that. Lots of boats out on the lake, though. The city itself was ugly. The people wore furs, looking bundled up in them. That made the already short halflings look very rotund, almost like balls. The city was made of stone. Not much color. Dreary.
The giant, black ziggurat near the center of the town only made the city bleaker. The top of it seemed to be shaped into a skull facing the sky, the mouth open. An altar lay there. It was creepy. Snow accumulated on the southern side facing the lake. This was supposed to be the city of the Living Dead.
If the Blessed Blade of Death was anywhere in the world, this ziggurat felt like it. The city had a creepy vibe. So dour like every day was a funeral in Ahavoire. He examined it and did not see any undead wandering around.
Everyone was alive, but… no one looked happy from above.
He also wondered where the dragon was. She would be guarding the city. He’d have trouble handling one. Siwang had tamed one, but Munjan wasn’t sure he had the monster girls for it. He had to do this with stealth.
Get in and out.
“Let’s see in the temple,” said Andea.
“Yeah,” Noca cooed. “This is neat.”
“Like predator drone footage on YouTube,” Macka said. Her tails crackled with electricity.
“Right, right, I can just phase through things,” said Munjan. He had seen Leo do this, but now…
He sent the sensor through the temple’s roof, right through the altar in the skull’s mouth. He penetrated the stone to find a lot of stone. It took going down a few levels before he hit rooms. Antechambers decorated in bones with lots of holes in the walls where boxes rested. They had words written on them.
Names.
“An ossuary,” said Ordaziti.
“A what?” Munjan asked.
“Those are bone boxes,” Ordaziti said. “They let the bodies decay to bones then put them into boxes. You can fit more of them.”
“They let them rot?” gasped Sjanja. “That’s gross.”
“Modern embalming is rather modern,” said Ordaziti.
They went down to another room and this one had halflings in black robes chanting. There was a dead woman on the plinth. They had cut open her abdomen and were packing it with salt mixed with other items.
“Now they’re embalming her,” said Ordaziti. “They’re making a mummy out of her. That’s wild. She must be important.”
The halflings chanted as they went about their work. This place did worship death.
Munjan nodded. It was interesting exploring the ziggurat. He wanted to stay busy. With Leo’s wife missing, nothing else would be happening. Leo was focused on that, and he could not act until the kidnapper contacted him.
Fucking saints, thought Munjan.
So while Leo was distracted and Siwang investigating Wai’s sudden death, Munjan would recover the Blessed Blade of Death. He just had to explore the temple to find it. He passed another room where they had rows of stone sarcophagi. They were each on a bier. More were unoccupied.
“Where they put the mummies,” Ordaziti said. “Maybe it’s only their rulers that get this treatment.”
“Yeah,” he said and explored the floor. The ziggurat grew wider the lower he went.
He was just starting to poke around when Khoobasoorata sent, “My Lord, there’s a problem.”
Chapter Twelve
Lucas Lucina wanted to get food.
So he started fashioning his dungeon. He would figure out how to make it a labyrinth. There was no way anyone would find him so soon. How could anyone know he was there? So he just made it simple and opened the tunnel up to the surface.
“Explore,” he told his lemures.
“And do not kill anyone,” added his wife. “We don’t want to harm people. Just see if there are places that Lucas can trade out. You can hunt. Kill some livestock.”
“Of course, Mommy,” Igra said. “Ooh, it’s cold out here. I like it.”
“Feels like death,” added Prusti. “There’s a wind and white stuff on the ground.”
“Snow,” Lucas said. “I guess we’re north or in winter.”
“The vegetation is very… low. It’s more like lichens,” added Igra. Lucas was surprised by their knowledge. “There’s a hill.”
“A tundra?” Bella asked through the shared telepathy even though she stood by him.
“Maybe,” Lucas said. “Not promising for food.”
“No,” she said. “Maybe herds of reindeer or yaks or something.”
Lucas nodded. He formed a throne room and added the map, following the advice of Soulisa. It was only a few minutes before he heard back from the lemures. By then, he had a large room with two thrones for him and Bella to use.
He wasn’t sure why, but Soulisa insisted. “Every builder needs a throne room,” she had said with a bright smile. “It’s tradition.”
Lucas refrained from asking if that bastard Leo had one. His blood still boiled, so he was glad for the distraction from Igra as she reported, “There’s a city by a big lake or maybe the sea.”
“Then we have a place to buy food,” said Bella. “That’s good.”
“And there are herds of reindeer!” Pozdravuvanje reported with glee. “They’re so many of them. They look like they’d be yummy for you, Lord Lucas.”
“Perfect,” he said. He had never had deer, let alone reindeer. “Kill one.”
“Or more,” Bella added.
“Won’t that go to waste?” Lucas asked aloud. “I can’t eat even one reindeer before it goes bad.”
“It won’t go bad in your dungeon reserves,” his lich-wife answered. “It’ll be preserved.”
“That’s right,” Soulisa said. “So don’t worry.”
“Bring back one right away,” Bella said. “Then go out and hunt more. That’ll attract attention. We can start working on the dungeon, but I want to cook my husband a meal.”
That sounded perfect.
“Yes, Mommy!” Igra said.
It wasn’t long before Igra brought back a reindeer. The moment she dumped it into the dungeon, he sensed it. He added it to the inventory of the dungeon. Then he fashioned a kitchen for his wife. She knew what was needed.
“Zoe and I would cook for Leo,” Bella exclaimed. “The other me, I mean.”
Lucas ground his teeth but swallowed his anger. Leo had twisted his wife into a whore. It wasn’t her normal self. He had to remember that or he would explode in rage on his wife. He couldn’t hurt her, only…
She wasn’t even alive any longer. This was a lich version.
Feeling disgusted with himself for that thought, he shoved it down. He wouldn’t beat his wife. He loved her. It was Leo he wanted to beat.
His wife set about skinning and cleaning the animal. He watched her. It was bloody. He was surprised by how calm she was about it. How skilled. She sliced off some steaks and had him return the carcass to the inventory.
When he returned, she was frying up the steaks. His monster girls were hunting more reindeer.
“The herders are running,” Nasmevnetese reported. “They are so scared of us.”
“They fear your power!” Frli said, sounding so happy about it.
“Just don’t hurt them,” Bella said. “They’re innocent.”
Lucas nodded. “Let them escape. How many do you have.”
“Three,” said Igra. “We can get a few more and come back. They’re heavy, but we’re strong.”
“Sure,” he said as his wife brought him a plate of a medium rare reindeer steak.
He sat with his fork and utensils. They were made out of real silver. He felt important as his wife served him. She didn’t sit down to eat herself. She didn’t need to. She stood at his side, her big breasts quivering.
She served him as was appropriate. His cock hardened. “Steak and a BJ.” He grinned at his wife. “Mind fulfilling the ultimate guy fantasy.”
“Of course not,” she said and crawled beneath the table.
As she engulfed Lucas’s cock, he cut into the meat. He took his first bite and groaned. It was a strong flavor, not quite beef. It was delicious, though. The meat melted in his mouth. His wife bobbed her head, his cock twitching.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“What is it?” Munjan asked, staring at the screen of the scrying sensor.
“There is a herd of reindeer and their halfling tenders fleeing south,” said Khoobasoorata. “They look frightened.”
“See what it is,” Munjan said. Frightened.
He kept exploring the ziggurat as he waited for a report. They were running? What could have done that? He had an idea, and it was an exciting one. A potential to gain more power. A dungeon builder predating on the halflings.
Within ten minutes, Khoobasoorata sent, “It’s lemures. They are carrying several dead reindeer across the tundra.”
“Lemures?” A thrill ran through Munjan. That meant Death. His missing Glyph. He wouldn’t have to wait for Leo to get around to finding the Shrine of Death. He could summon Senka to this world today. “Track them back to their dungeon.”
“They’re heading northwest of the city,” Jamakarana added.
“What?” asked Macka. “You look so happy.”
“Nothing in the screen,” Mirisi said.
“A Death builder,” said Munjan and shifted his scrying sensor.
It shot out of the ziggurat and surged over the city. He sent it northwest, searching for the reindeer herd running for the city. His cock ached with the potential power he would gain. He quivered there as he scanned the tundra.
“Is it a dangerous one?” asked Noca.
“He killed some reindeer.” Munjan pointed to the screen. “There. That herd!”
The reindeer were rushing across the tundra. Halflings mounted on other reindeer were rushing after them. Big, hairy dogs barked around them, trying to calm them down. Munjan fought his excitement.
“If I kill him, I can get Death today,” Munjan said. “Senka will be here. The squad complete.”
“Did he kill any halflings?” asked Andea.
He shook his head. “Just some reindeer according to the werewolves.” Blood streaked the ground. “There they are.”
His werewolves stalked through the tundra, flanking the five lemures. Black-skinned women with white hair that stood out on the tundra. They were dragging a pair of reindeer each, leaving bloody trails as they headed for their dungeon.
“Are you going to negotiate with him first?” Andea asked. “If he hasn’t killed any halflings, he hasn’t gone rogue.”
Munjan waved his hand. “Leo doesn’t care about that any longer. He just kills builders these days.”
“Because they’re doing bad things,” Macka pointed out.
“Killing animals is bad,” Vina said.
“Not that bad,” said Plamena.
“I want Senka and have a complete squad,” Vina said. “Let’s kill him.”
“Yes,” Jaje said. “Lemures attacking herds is going to lead to some halfling getting killed trying to save their livestock, if that hasn’t happened already.”
“She’s right,” said Talasa. “The builder could have killed a halfling another day.”
“We don’t know that,” Andea pointed out.
Munjan shrugged. “He’s dangerous. That’s all that matters. We kill him.”
“And if Leo asks?” his angel demanded.
“Well, he was attacking the halflings,” said Munjan. “We had to act.”
“That’s right,” cooed Macka. “Let’s kill him and get Senka!”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“We’re back, Lord Lucas,” Igra sent.
Lucas grinned and asked, “How many?”
“Ten,” the lemure replied.
Fuck, he would be eating reindeer steak for a month. He savored that wet mouth sucking on him. He took another bite of his steak, his wife sucking so hard. The pressure in his balls tightened. He savored that moment.
“That’s it,” he groaned. “Oh, fuck, that’s good. Bella!”
She bobbed her head. He let himself fully enjoy the suction. His wife had such a delicious mouth. Not hot, but cool. Invigorating. He chewed on the steak and washed it down with just water. He wished he had a beer, but…
“Damn, that’s good, Bella,” he grunted.
“Mmm, just enjoy your dinner,” she said. “I’m glad to give you this fantasy. It’s fun. I feel so naughty serving my husband.”
“It’s nice,” he said, smiling. “Damn, work that mouth.”
She did. She bobbed her head, sliding her lips up and down his cock as he cut into the reindeer. He closed his eyes, enjoying this moment. She worked her mouth up and down his rod. She blew him with all that she had. It was an incredible moment.
He continued eating the steak, enjoying it as his wife worked her mouth up and down his cock. Her tongue flicked around his rod. He savored every second of it. He rose toward that moment when he would cum.
He finished off his steak and groaned. “That was so delicious.”
His wife purred around his cock as she sent, “Glad you enjoyed it, honey. I always loved cooking for my family.”
He nodded, savoring the way her mouth worked up and down his cock. It was an incredible rush to have her suckling on him. She nursed with all her might on his cock. It was an incredible moment. He loved every second of it.
She swirled her tongue around his cock. He grunted as she did that. She felt incredible. She drove him wild with that hot mouth. He groaned, loving the feel of her working that hot mouth up and down his dick. She bobbed her head, nursing on him.
“Shit, shit, shit,” he groaned. “That’s it! That’s so fucking good!”
She moaned her agreement around his cock. She suckled on him as she bobbed her head. She worked her mouth up and down his cock, her tongue dancing around his cock. He closed his eyes and leaned back in the wooden chair.
It creaked as his hands balled into fists.
“Bella!” he groaned.
She nursed with all her might on him.
“Oh, shit, Bella!” he growled. “That’s it. That’s so good. Fuck!”
He erupted into her mouth.
His cock spurted blast after blast of his cum into her hungry maw. The pleasure slammed through him. He loved every second of it. He grunted as he dumped his load into her. She gulped down his cum. It was so good to have her swallowing his spunk. He enjoyed that immensely. She groaned, flicking her tongue around his dick. He shuddered at the way she blew him. He loved every second of it.
She nursed on him with her passion.
It was so good.
“That’s it,” he grunted as he dumped the last of his cum into her mouth. “Shit.”
She nursed on his cock as he closed his eyes. He just wanted to stay here and savor it. Just then, his lemures burst in. They were smiling at him. They were smeared in blood, though. That wasn’t good. They didn’t seem to mind, but that wasn’t him.
“Where did you leave the deer?” he asked.
“In the entrance,” Prusti said.
“They’re heavy,” added Nasmevnetese. “But we gladly brought them.”
“Yep!” Frli said. She giggled. “The halflings ran away from us. It was funny.”
Bella popped her mouth off his cock and said, “You better store them then start readying the dungeon. That’s bound to attract adventurers.”
“And I can kill them?” Lucas asked as he rose.
“Of course.” Bella looked fierce. “They’ll be here to kill you.”
He nodded and headed for the Vault. He reached the Vault and gripped the black stone. Soulisa smiled at him as he found the deer. He stored them and then thought about the blood on his lemures. Could he clean the blood off them by—
An alarm blared.
Bella gasped.
The lemures hissed and grew tense.
“What the fuck is that?” he gasped.
“The dungeon has been breached,” said Soulisa and gasped, horror on her face. “Hurry! Get to your throne room! You don’t have any defenses. Get ready to use your magic.”
“Magic?” Lucas asked.
“The words in your soul!” she said. “Move!”
“Yes!” Bella hissed. “To the throne room. Get ready to defend my husband!”
“Yes, Mommy!” the lemures all cried and darted away.
“Shit!” he gasped, his heart thundering a mile a minute.
Lucas rushed out of the door and into his throne room. The map of the dungeon was lit up. It wasn’t a big dungeon. Just a hallway that led straight to his throne room. He glanced down at the map. In the large throne room glowed a white dot, a gold dot, and five blue dots. Was that us? he thought. The five blue have to my lemures. He wasn’t sure if his wife or he were the white or gold dots but.
Worse, at the entrance, there were two red dots and thirteen, fourteen, then finally fifteen black dots.
“What does that mean?” Lucas asked, fear fluttering through him. “The black dots. And the red.”
“The black dots are enemy monster girls,” Soulisa answered, something sad in her voice. “Another builder has found you. Do you sense the words of power in your soul? You will need your magic.”
“Two humanoids with them,” whispered Bella in confusion. “With monster girls?”
“It doesn’t matter,” Lucas groaned as the black dots rushed down the hallway. They were almost to his throne room. “What words? I don’t know them?”
“They are there,” said Soulisa.
“We’ll defend you, my lover!” Bella said. “They’re almost here!”
The five lemures surged forward, crying out, “For Lord Lucas!”
They barely spread out before him when the doors burst open and monster girls poured in. Fear surging through his body, Lucas could hardly recognize any of them. They were all different. The first one through was a bronze-skinned woman with four arms and flaming swords. She slashed Frli in half, his lemure vanishing into motes.
Lucas felt her death.
Behind the four-armed killer, a catgirl bounded in with two tails that cackled with lightning. A blast shot from her and killed Nasmevnetese. Out of the shadows behind Pozdravuvanje, a black-skinned monster girl standing on goat hoofs appeared and gored his lemure.
His monster girls died. It all happened so fast. In moments, his lemures were dead. Bella threw out spectral scythes. She cut down the bronze-skinned woman who vanished into motes of light. Jumping past her was a human woman with wild, black hair who screeched in passion.
She landed before Bella and went to attack before she stopped and gasped out, “Mrs. Lucina?”
Chapter Thirteen
“Do I know you?” Lucas’s wife asked the monster girl that almost attacked her. “Wait, wait, I do know you. It’s Vina. Munjan? Are you here?”
Who is Munjan? Lucas asked, terror crushing his heart. The catgirl eyed him, her tail crackling, but she hadn’t fired.
“Fuck, it is Mrs. Lucina?” said a man who strode in with monster girls around him. One had red bat-like wings. Another had gray skin that dripped in water. Another man stood by them, both in robes. Neither of them were Leo, though. “What are you doing here, Mrs. Lucina? Why are you a lich What is going on?”
“I’m my husband’s companion,” Bella said. She retreated back toward her husband. “This is Lucas, Munjan. My husband.”
“Well, shit,” this Munjan said. He was a young man with tan skin and dark hair. Handsome in a prickish sort of way. “There are two Mrs. Lucinas in the world?”
“You know my wife?” Lucas demanded. He had to be strong. He had to gain control. He was about to die, but now… Now he saw a way out. “Who are you?”
“Yeah, I know your wife,” said Munjan. He glanced back at the other robed figure who had paler skin. “Your wife’s Leo’s angel.”
Anger swelled in Lucas. He wanted to beat Leo to a pulp. “Well, I’m here now. Bella’s my wife. I was killed…” He trailed off. “I don’t know how to explain where I came from.”
“The real world?” suggested Munjan. “Same as me. Not Melin, though.” He thumbed at the other guy. “He’s from this world. But my monster girls are from our world.”
“This is wild,” a naked girl with white wings and a halo. An angel? “A second Mrs. Lucina with blue skin and a gem between her tits.”
“Wouldn’t it be hot if they got it on?” asked the catgirl.
“Yes,” the girl with red, bat-like wings said. She had a tail. Some sort of demon girl. “So hot.”
“So you know Leo, huh?” Lucas saw a path to live. He had to seize it with confidence.
Munjan nodded. “I don’t know what to make of this. I was going to kill you, but… Damn, I guess I can’t.”
“Especially since the man who killed me has a message for Leo,” Lucas said. Pain swept through him. Back in the real world, his wife would have no reason not to be that little shit’s lover. His open whore. He would…
Lucas pushed that down. His real wife was at his side. That was just a woman who had her soul messed with by magic.
“The man who killed me knew about this world,” Lucas added. “He knew Leo was here. A builder.”
“Really?” Munjan’s jaw dropped. “Fuck me. Well, uh, we’re not going to kill you at all. I swear on the Soul of the Void Crystal, that I will not attack you if you do not attack me.”
“That is a binding promise,” Soulisa said. “If you agree, do not break it. Bad things happen.”
“I promise on the… Soul of the Void Crystal that I won’t attack you unless you attack me,” Lucas said and felt it. His soul quivered.
“Then I ask leave to be your guest,” Munjan added. “For me and my companions to be your guests. We can make up for this… mistake.”
“You killed my lemures,” Lucas pointed out.
“You can bring them back to life,” Bella said. “They’re not gone. Just sleeping in the Void.
“Yes, you can,” Soulisa said. “Accept, and he will be in serious trouble for breaking his word. Say, ‘By my Void Crystal, I invite you and your companions as my guests.’ Don’t break it. It will be dire.”
“By my Void Crystal, I invite you and your companions as my guests,” Lucas said and felt that shiver again.
The alarm stopped ringing. On the screen, the two red dots turned green and the black dots blue.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Munjan could not believe this. A second Mrs. Lucina, and her husband from the real world. A message.
“I…” Munjan struggled to gather himself, swallowing the disappointment. He had been so close to getting the Death glyph. This dungeon had no defenses. Just a few lemures. A new one. Easy pickings. “I have to contact Leo.” He paused. “I hope you haven’t killed any halflings.”
“Just some reindeer,” Mr. Lucina said as he put his arm possessively around the lich version of Mrs. Lucina.
So weird, Munjan thought as he stared at the lich. It was Mrs. Lucina. Her magnificent tits, her motherly face, but her skin and hair were the wrong color. No wings. No halo. That red gem between her boobs was enticing. God, if I just killed the builder before realizing it was her, I could have had my own Mrs. Lucina.
It was so tempting, but… This message was important. It was too late now to kill him.
“Leo, I found a dungeon builder outside of Ahavoire,” Munjan sent.
“Ahavoire?” Leo sounded confused. “Up north. What are you doing there?”
“Getting the Blessed Blade,” Munjan said. “While scouting, I found a new dungeon.”
“Offer him to swear fealty. If he refuses, kill him and take his mana vein,” Leo answered. As cold as he had been since Halia’s death. And especially now with his wife taken from him.
Since the people of this world betrayed him.
“It’s just… The builder is your neighbor, Mr. Lucina. His wife is with him as his companion.”
There was a pause. “What?”
“Yeah, Mr. Lucina is a builder. Summoned his wife to be his companion. There’s another Mrs. Lucina here. It’s wild. It’s her but different.”
“Well, the offer stands,” said Leo. “Allegiance or death. Just… don’t be a dick about it. He’s a nice guy.”
“And you’re fucking his wife.”
“I said don’t be a dick, Munjan,” Leo answered, sounding annoyed.
“Well, there is something else.” Munjan sighed, glancing at Lucas and his wife. “He, er, was murdered by someone in the real world to send you a message.”
“To send the other me a message?” Leo sounded befuddled. “Why would someone do that?”
“I mean, the you in this world. The man who killed Mr. Lucina knows about this world. Knows about you being here.”
“Bring him to me,” Leo commanded with force.
Munjan nodded as if he was face to face with his lord. “Well, Mr. Lucina, Leo wants to see you.”
“Lucas,” muttered the builder. He did not look happy. “I really don’t want to see that prick. He stole my wife!”
“Well, a version of her,” Munjan said, shrugging. “Doesn’t matter, he wants to see you. I wouldn’t defy him. He’s one of the most powerful men in the world. Maybe the most powerful man. He won’t harm you if you don’t do something stupid. I swear on my Void Crystal that you’ll be safe to see him and leave.”
Lucas glanced at his wife.
She nodded.
He still didn’t look happy.
“Frankly,” Munjan said, wanting to sweeten the pot, “having him as your Lord will give you access to more elements. More companions. He’ll protect you. So will I. I’m his vassal.”
He hesitated again, anger on his face.
“I get it,” Munjan said. “But most builders don’t last a month. We’ll protect you from the halflings and other builders. If you serve Leo, he’ll move heaven and hell to defend you. He’s a good kid.”
“Who fucked my wife,” muttered Lucas.
“Not that version of her,” said Munjan. “And she’s the version that matters.”
“Please, do it, Lucas,” Mrs. Lucina said. “He won’t ever touch me. I’m yours.”
He glanced at her and Munjan could tell they were speaking telepathically. Mrs. Lucina nodded her head, emphasizing her words. Finally, Lucas’s shoulders sagged. He relented and glanced at Munjan, looking glum.
Humiliated.
“Fine, take me to see him.”
