This is a revised version of the story that I published on Smashword starting back in 2014. It is rewritten with much-added material. However, I did have to age up some of the characters so no one is underage in this version.

Much is known about some of the Tyrants’ inner circle, and almost nothing is known about others. Jacob Goldstein is one of the latter. His background as an accountant may explain his position as Secretary of the Treasury, but how he garnered the position has never been clear. Our only sources are the dubious propaganda of the Tyrants.

“Fuck,” Mark groaned as the twin, eighteen-year-old sisters cuddled on other side of him in the back of the limo. Both had heart-shaped faces and golden-blonde hair falling in curls about them. They laughed and giggled under Mark’s control. Their auras were black. I hardly paid attention to the faint outline around everyone I could see now thanks to the mowdah spell.
