The Mermaid’s Tickler groaned as she slipped the docks from Sher-Vex and headed out into the calm waters of Lake Tur. The besotted crew, all fawning over Lady Alloria, unfurled sails under the barking command of their captain, Artix. The shaved-head man hovered by the busty noblewoman, glancing at her periodically.
