I’m in trouble with Patreon

So Patreon got mad at me today.  They are not happy about some of my stories I’ve posted on their site, like sneak peeks at Futa’s Mind-Controlling Panties.

This isn’t necessarily a surprise. They are becoming more and more anti-erotica for the last year or two.

So the sneak peek for The Futa’s Mind-Controlling Panties 18 (what I WOULD HAVE published on Patreon today) is already up on Subscribe Star for the $3 tier.

Also the UNEDITED Dungeon Builder’s Harem is up there. The three parts that were on Patreon before I had to delete them. This will continue on Patreon with no incest. You’ll be seeing the rough draft of the Amazon version there. Incest is not what the series is about, but a Fantasy Another World Isekai erotica series.

So I have created a Subscribe Star account. It’s very possible my patreon will be terminated even if I deleted all the bad content.

Honestly first tumblr and now patreon. Why the f. are all the websites becoming so anti-erotica/porn in general. It’s not like they get more ‘clients’ that way.
    Anyway hope your stories survive.

Anti-porn and sex-negative feminist got all the teaching posts in college in the seventies and eighties and have been shaping “intellectual” thought. So the porn backlash, specificially pron catering to hetreosexual men, is just one more line on the culture war going on. They have infilitrated the credit card companies, MasterCard especially, that puts pressure on websites to get rid of things. But this blog is on a porn host and I pay for the hosting. Subscribe Star is more free speech but it’s not as polished a platform. I manged to skate under the radar but Patreon found me. It’s sad becuase Patreon is actaully not doing well financially. They are having trouble getting investors and the little bit they scrape off the top isn’t enough to cover their costs and they took a big hit when free speech suppoters pulled out last year.

I’ve seen some game creators host their actual content externally, and they somewhat vague post on Patreon.

I know one artist who tried that and Patreon demanded access to his dropbox. There is only one real story I’m posting on Patreon that is a problem. There’s a lot of past content bureid in there that I dobut anyone bothers to view since it’s a pain to navigate Patreon adn dig into past posts. I do give out reward content by email and those are down outside of Patreon preview. We’ll see what happens. It’ll suck but it’s not the end of the world if they close me down.
