Trying to claim this bit it doesn’t seem to be working
It just worked for me. I’m sorry you’re having trouble.
Is it not claiming or not downloading? Claiming was fine for me either way (and you don’t have to register an account for the downloads, only for the history of your claimed books), but I first struggled with the download. On my Android phone (that I tend to read all the chapters on) it constantly told me that the download failed (without any further information). On PC everything went fine. So anyways, I’d suggest just try another browser or device (if available). Perhaps it’s as simple as deactivated cookies?!?
But I see that it’s a bit annoying to be forced to download them via some third-party sites just because Amazon has such a nearly monopolistic position and can dictate rules. Isn’t it still Reed’s own property?
I am sorry for the hassle. I use this service for my patreon fans with exclusive stories I write for them. I am sorry there are problems, but, yeah, Amazon gets squirlly. It’s my property, but they don’t have to publish it. They have bots that search for plagerism and stuff. It’s a hassle sometimes.
